The goal of Montgomery County's Criminal DCM Plan is to provide a structured system for the management of cases that, through early intervention and ongoing control of the progress of cases, provides sufficient resources, including time for preparation, meaningful pretrial event, and firm and credible trial date for the timely resolution of the entire spectrum of the criminal caseload, ranging from jury demands and appeals form the District Court to routine and complex cases originating in the Circuit Court.
