While many communities have services for women impacted by gender-based violence, such as rape crisis counseling and domestic violence shelters, these services are often left out of reentry planning; and victim services and reentry services remained silo-ed from each other. Also included are the most common needs of women exiting jail; possible junctures for justice-involved women to access victim services; and existing models for jail-victim services partnerships.
