Though women in jails are the fastest growing correctional population in the U.S., they are left out of reform efforts. This workshop includes a panel of women who will share their personal experiences with the legal system, the challenges they faced, and what helped them exit the system successfully. They will offer recommendations about how to stem the flow of women cycling through jails.#Women
