As a Strategic Ally for the Safety and Justice Challenge, NCSL’s activities include: (1) invitational policy forums for select lawmakers to foster leadership on juvenile and criminal justice reform; (2) sessions devoted to the Safety and Justice Challenge at NCSL’s national meetings; (3) technical assistance programs in selected states; (4) webinars, electronic and print publication of articles, and a quarterly electronic newsletter on criminal justice reform; and (5) information services for legislators and staff.
