This 5 minute video does an excellent job of discussing government policies and practices throughout history that lay the foundation for structural racism and the deep inequities that we still see today for people of color. It goes beyond the black/white dichotomy to include Native Americans, Japanese, Chinese, Mexican and other ethnicities.
