This workshop will explore how technical violations of probation can impact local jail populations, especially when a high number of individuals with these violations experience substance abuse issues. Representatives from St. Louis County's Expedited Probation Project and Philadelphia's Detainer Alternative Program will discuss lessons learned and explore next steps in addressing this area.
